Hawkins Commissioners Approve Budget Without Tax Increase

Commissioners in Hawkins County have finally approved next years budget by utilizing nearly a hundred thousand dollars in savings. The spending document does not call for a tax increase and the county is left with just over four million dollars in reserve funds. The budget will also provide county employees with a two percent cost of living adjustment.
