JC Water and Sewer Services says “Annual Test Kits” in mail are not from them

Johnson City Water and Sewer Services is warning customers about “Annual Water Test” kits that have been mailed to addresses in the service area. A press release from the city says that these kits do not originate from Johnson City WSS and appear to be part of a sales strategy by private companies attempting to market water filtration systems. The release reminds customers that all official correspondence from the Department will be clearly branded by Johnson City and easily identifiable.
