Remaining 49 O’Charley’s restaurants shuttered
The O’Charley’s restaurant chain originally based in Nashville has closed its remaining locations in 11 states and closed all of its social media accounts, placing hundreds out of work.
The comfort food eatery initially closed 18 of its locations in 2023, including several in the Tri-Cities region. This closure was announced by its parent company that owns 64 percent of the O’Charley’s business, stating those locations had trouble maintaining its traffic and had a 13 percent drop in sales last year.
The closest locations still open near our region included Morristown and Christiansburg. The original owners started the brand in 1971.
